Welcome to the Board of Education's Strategic Planning Process!
As the Sunshine Coast Board of Education, we believe in our responsibility to enhance student learning and create equity for each learner in the district by developing and maintaining a powerful and transformative Strategic Plan.
The plan will be supported and framed by provincial policy, the redesigned curriculum and the local context as we journey together. As we imagine students crossing the stage and embarking on their next stages of life what skills and attributes do we want them to have developed, what dreams have we as an education system helped to foster and support and how does our strategic plan set direction for each student to flourish and succeed?
Your Voice
What an opportunity for all of us to paddle together, as a canoe family, and create opportunities, space and support for change that aligns our practices and operations with the redesigned curriculum, equity, inclusion, Indigenous ways of knowing and being, and Truth and Reconciliation to ensure each child flourishes and reaches their full potential.
Your voice matters and we wish to hear from you, the Sunshine Coast learning community, through the new Strategic Plan development process!
We thank you in advance for engaging over the next school year in a series of survey questions and meeting opportunities across the district to share with us what we need to know.
We look forward to developing the new five-year Sunshine Coast School District Strategic Plan with you!
